Dust by Kenneth F Yates

West Yorkshire Playhouse in association with I Love West Leeds Festival are presenting Dust by Kenneth F Yates, the story of the Armley Asbestos Factory, and June Hancock, who fought for justice for victims of asbestos.

This production brings its premiere out to Armley to be performed in an empty factory unit close to the site of the original JW Roberts factory. Featuring a community cast from across Leeds, the production tells the incredible story of June Hancock and her battle for justice using the actual words of those involved taken from interviews and trial transcripts.

This play is on in Armley for a single night before going on to the West Yorkshire Playhouse on 15-18 July.

Tickets for the Armley Performance are £5, the profits of this performance will be donated by the I Love West Leeds Festival to the June Hancock Fund.
