Virtual Protest - Art and music making workshop

There is no doubt that we are living in uncertain times at the moment and a lot of initiatives (not just in the arts) are being cut or decimated.

We're inviting everyone, especially families to come and join us for a workshop in making banners, placards, costumes, songs, instruments, chants and anything else that you might need for a creative, peaceful protest. We'll have materials (but please bring your own too and instruments) and some ideas but we need you to come and have some FUN and CREATE!

There will be free tea and cake (if you can bring cake please do
!) and it is for everyone - kids or no kids, long term activist or never before even dreamt of going on a protest.

The day will also kick start a new #anticutsleeds Virtual Protest.

This is all about being a very safe space, especially for people/families who feel unable to go on marches but who want to do somethingto express their opposition to services being cut.

We want to help those of you who don't want to/can't get to London for the TUC march on March 26th to join in by adding your voice to our Virtual Protest online.

Come and make a banner, make up a song, take a photo or a video and upload it to our Virtual Protest and we'll help get your voice heard even if you can't take to the streets.

Please help spread the word:
