West Leeds CLC - Armley Photographic Exhibition

These striking digital images of Armley have been taken and manipulated by a group of students from the Armley / Wortley / Bramley areas, all of whom attend either Swallow Hill Community College, Leeds West Academy or Farnley Park School. All the students are currently studying for Level 1 Creative & Media Diploma Group at the Leeds West City Learning Centre.

The brief for this Exhibition was that the group had to arrange an Event / Exhibition, to gain an understanding of the industry.

The students went out into the Armley area and documented the Streets. These photographs were then edited using Photo Editing Software (nothing added / nothing taken away). The streets photographed are around St. Bartholomew's Church, Armley, Swallow Hill Community College and Charley Cake Park. The idea of the photographs was not in any way to criticise the area, but to show what underlying beauty can be seen when you open you eyes and look at things differently.
